There are so many things I could say about Aly & Ryan’s wedding. I kind of tear up just thinking about it! It was such a special day, and one of the most thoughtful and beautiful weddings I’ve ever been a part of. Aly and Ryan truly value what’s important in life – good family and friends – and their wedding day was such a lovely reflection of that. Their wedding was at Aly’s cousins home in Norman, Oklahoma. It was a perfect and sunny day with the bluest skies – The perfect day to say “I do” surrounded by close family and friends. Every aspect of Aly and Ryan’s wedding had sentimental value, from the location to the decor, they truly kept their family at heart in all of their planning. Everything was super laid back so Aly and Ryan could focus on spending time with loved ones and having a good time. They even had a food truck! And the pies – don’t get me started on those pies! Aly and Ryan it was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day, thanks so much for having me!
I hope everyone out there has a wonderful and safe holiday. We’ll be catching our towns little 4th of July Parade with the kiddo, and hopefully making it to fireworks (I’m not too sure how Liam will feel about that though…) In case you need a great recipe for the weekend, I highly suggest making my favorite red, white, and blueberry cake. It’s sure to be a hit at any holiday party. Snag the recipe here on Style Me Pretty Living.
OK, so I’m trying really, really, hard not to completely over-share here and make this into the worlds longest blog post, but these two kiddos are just too much. The bows, the outfits, their sweet little personalities… it doesn’t get any more adorable than this. Once upon a time I was supposed to photograph Michelle’s wedding day… until I found out I was going to have a baby… and I was due the day before her wedding (!!!). I was super bummed that I couldn’t be a part of their day, I loved Michelle’s personality and style and was looking forward to working with her. But, sometimes the universe has other plans!
Fast forward almost 2 years later and now Charlotte and Olivia are soon to become big sisters and I finalllllly got the chance to spend some time with Michelle and her family. These two girls couldn’t be more excited to welcome their little sister – they even picked out a special friendship necklace just for her! I had a blast taking a break from the weeks of non-stop rain and spending some time outdoors with this lovely family. Thanks to their gorgeous and stylish mama Michelle for letting me capture such a special time. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you all!\ \ \
