I will admit it… I’m by no means an amazing chef, but I do love to try new things in the kitchen. The trouble is, sometimes it can be so time consuming, and I can never justify setting the time aside for myself to do what I enjoy. Plus our house includes a carnivore (my husband) a vegetarian (myself) and a little tiny person who only has 2 teeth… creating meals that the whole family can enjoy can be quite the task! So a few months ago when Style Me Pretty Living offered me a position as a food and lifestyle editor, I jumped at the opportunity! Having a deadline each month forces me to get in the kitchen and get cooking, plus I get to photograph food (double win!)
So if you are looking for something yummy to cook, some pretty food pictures, or you want to pin another recipe to the great abyss that is the Pinterest board (I’m totally not judging… I might just have hundreds of recipes pinned that have never seen the light of day…) then check it out HERE!
I just loved everything about Kaye + Austin’s lovely day. It was classic and elegant and you could tell just how much they love each other. I’m so lucky to get to spend my days with couples in love!

These two are absolutely adorable, and so fun to work with. After having to postpone multiple times due to ridiculously chilly weather (thanks a lot polar vortex), we finally got the perfect weather for a pretty spring Engagement session. So SO happy the weather finally warmed up! Can’t wait for the wedding day!
A few weeks ago I got to spend a rainy Sunday morning with Tricia, Steve, and Ollie (the pup) at St. Louis Forest Park. The talented ladies over at Mint Space Design created a perfectly styled engagement session full of bright details, and delicious treats! I just adore the tulip flower crown, and Ollie the Dachshund.
